a little north getaway

With two of my friends we were able to explore Ilocos Sur to Ilocos Noret though with limited time we were able to experience most of what it has offer.

Our first top is Vigan, Ilocos Sur though we were not able to see the whole of it especially the old, vintage houses it has to offer because during our visit the street were you can find the old houses was closed due to a parade (Kalesa and Gayhem Parade) but nevertheless we were able to watch and enjoy the parade.

not the usual stuff (lights, fire and a camera)

fire dancer

lights

and more lights

AND THIS IS WHAT HAD HAPPENED:

After the  glittering lights, the fearless fire dance then comes sadness. This is what happened just about to upload the photos I took this what I saw upon opening my camera, though the photo’s where not affected but needless to say,the screen doesn’t look good,I don’t know how it happened.  😦

I think  I have to buy a new one, no I really have to buy a new one, which I’m still thinking what brand or kind(any suggestions or recommendations will be much appreciated.) I will still try to use this and see what will be the outcome. 😦

not the usual stuff

“jomar”

we bumped in to this guy who turns out to be having a little business with our mechanic and he was buying used oil from the delivery trucks

motorcycle service of our two delivery crew

**All of this was taken the last time I had what I called free time photo walk. I thought since I was out there might as well take photos of different subject just to break the usual norm. I hope you like it as you like my usual post. Thanks. 🙂

out and about (Oct. 7,2012)

Every time I went home whether to stay for a weekend or just a quick visit you will hardly see me at home instead you will see me roaming around our backyard,my cousins backyard and our neighbors backyard doing what I love to do. And last Sunday (Oct.7,2012) was not an exception, I can hear my aunt looking for me and one of my cousins just told her that I was out and about taking photos.  And here are some of those photo’s I took.

Most of them are grasses that only grow and bloomed when it’s rainy season. Just like this one.

This one was also a wild grass that I only see right now. (even though I usually roamed here around)

With this one the vast field you see was actually used to plant rice.

This one was a post made out of wood with wire on it to hold the fence and some plants are crawling on it. Image

A makahiya flowers (bashful mimosa)or touch me not in Englisg which you can see everywhere. I wonder why every time you touches her leaves it automatically closes with it’s beauty there is no reason to be shy.

My aunts always plants vegetables during this time of year, this was actually a string beans, and this are his flowers.ImageImage

Well a good camouflage I didn’t notice this spider,a before I took a good photos of him, he’s gone, don’t know where he goes.

Image

I just hope the next time I will roam around I will be equipped with a good and right gadget to be able to take a photos of this little creature.

And who would have thought that plants that will grow over the roof. My aunt ask me to tell my mother that plants are actually growing over our roof I told her I will took a photo of it and send to her (by the way she migrated abroad with my youngest brother and with my stepfather) so my aunt serve us our house caretaker.

It’s been a hot and humid day during my visit and one way to battle the heat is to eat ice cream and thank goodness, Mr. Lover Boy just came up nowhere (no it’s not what you think it is) Mr. Lover Boy was the ice cream vendor and you’ll find out why I called him Mr. Lover Boy.

An ice cream (cheese and chocolate flavor) that cost Php 5.00 or P 10.00, one way to beat the heat.

That’s it for now will be posting more of the photo’s I took during my visit back home. Thank’s for taking the time to look and read this post. Till next time. Bye. 🙂

October rain

Image

**It seems that October will be another month wherein were gonna experience a lot of rain.Though the sun does come out once in a while still within the day we still experience rainfall whether be at day and worse at night. But I hope the rain will never be same as before wherein we experience heavy rainfall that causes flood. I do love rain but this last few years I get a little nervous every time the rain falls because you wanna experienced the same thing that had happened to you three years ago, almost losing everything you had because of heavy rain that causes massive flood hopefully it won’t happened again.

**The photo above was taken just this morning on my way to work. I love how those rain drops still manages to settled at the grass and how the grass manages to balance the rain drops.
