This is one of the summer that I must say I enjoyed so much, one of the best summer I had. Been to one of the remote and one of the island that had not been explored and touch by humans. A place where you can just sit and wondered and be awe with the beauty the nature has to offer. Powdery sand and water as blue as the sky, just love to listen to the waves splashing and touching the shore. If you wonder where it is, it’s CALAGUAS ISLAND, it was located at Vinzons,Camarines Norte, in Bicol Region,Philippines. The eight hours bus drive the Philippine’s capital city Manila and almost two hours boat ride from the mainland to the island, but travel time was so worth that you will and wanted to come back again and again. I must say that Calaguas Island is a paradise.
My vacation in Darwin is over, back at my own country, Philippines. Will be posting photos I took while I was there.
Continuing our Ilocos trip we’ve got to see the sand dunes Laoag has to offer.
I had an opportunity to go out of town last Saturday to attend one of my godchildren’s 7th birthday celebration and this celebration was a way to be able to meet up and catch up with my college friends whom I never seen for quite sometimes. Apple the mother of my godchildren Naomi lives near the beach so before the children’s party started we decided to go for a walk and check out the beach which I used as an opportunity to have a photo walk. And below was the photo’s I was able to captured.
On our way to the beach, you will see some cornfields.
Some interesting flowers blooming at the sidewalks
And this red and pink gumamela (hibiscus) (sorry for the red one,it was a little bit out of focus)
carabao resting at those green grass
an arrow pointing to the beach
And finally the beach
saw some boats, which was used of course for catching fish and some was used to transfer people to nearby island and to tour the coastlines
That’s all for now, more photos to come in my next post. 🙂
